04) Birreencorragh Horseshoe 25.02.18
Challenging day and route. Couple of steep climbs that I was not feeling optimistic about, bit of encouragement from the company, and well still alive a couple of years down the line. Possibly, probably and most likely just me......turns out I was justified by my reluctance....a story for another day.
The route at the bottom of the page finishes at 13.5km, it was closer to 18 - 19.5km. The mountain rescue guy from Thunderbirds came into our vicinity, I genuinely thought he was there to rescue me so logged out of Runtastic, turns out that a sheep was in need of advice on woollen wear or something, so a false alarm. And well I forgot to switch on the app again.
On the other hand the mapping may have stalled because my phone died.....ahhh....don't be too sad; it just needed recharging.
